I have a rose bush and it was looking good until the last couple weeks.  the leaves have black spots and look like something is eating on them and they are all falling off. It doesn't look good at all.  Could you please tell me what the problem is and what to do.  I live in southcentral Kentucky which is close to Bowling Green, Kentucky.

What you are describing is a fungal disease called Black Spot. To help with this problem, there are rose sprays out there just for this disease. Simply following the instructions on the label and never use any spray when the temperature is high and hot. If there are insets on the plant then get a spray that is both for insets and Black Spot to save yourself extra work.
