QuestionSomething is stripping all of the leaves off my rosebush. The blooms so far are not harmed but just about all of the leaves have disappeared in just about a week's time.
Thank you,
Lou
AnswerIf the outline or the veins of the leaves are let then it is a caterpillar or even an insect. But if all the leaves are gone then it is usually an animal. If the leaves are gone past 3 feet then it could be a deer lower than 2 feet a rabbit. It depends on where you garden and what type of wild animals you have there. Spraying with Windex or watered down ammonia seems to discourage animals.
