AnswerI would check and see if the rose is still alive. Scratch a cane and see if the underneath colour is green. You can also cut a cane and the inside should be the colour of a green apple. If there is brown in the center of the cane it has died. Keep doing this to all the canes and then cut back the ones that have the brown in them until the colour is green.
