i have been trying to start rose cuttings and they keep turning black and moulding..i am starting in sand and using starting hormone.. what is going wrong???? confused!!!!! thanks,steve

First of all some roses are really hard to grow from a cutting. No matter what you do they die on you. here is a really good wen site that explains it carefully. Half the battle of rose cutting is how and when you take them. Hope this helps.
