Do you know if deer like to eat Knockout Roses? I'd love to plant a few at the edge of our woods, but, we have about a doz.deer that runaround & eat almost everything in site!  Year 'round!  At $25/plant, I don't want to feed them to the deer. Have you heard of this happening?

I know that Knock Out roses have been getting a lot of hype but it is really just advertising. They are definitely good roses but no better than many other shrub roses. I have over 800 roses and deer will eat anything. They are mainly browsers and just nibble away at anything that is eatable. Yes, I'm afraid that the deer will eat the Knock Out roses as they will taste the same as any other rose. Hope this helps.
