QuestionHow far apart should I plant my knockout roses? I'm looking to achieve a hedge of roses under my front window.
Thanks,
Elisabeta
AnswerKnockout roses are usually about 3 feet in width plus three feet in height if your winter is cold. If you are in a warm area then they can go to 5 feet in height with the same width. To get the look of one continuous rose hedge I would make the center of the holes three feet apart. Don't forget to prune them back hard the first two years and this will make sure they will grow bushy. Hope this helps.
