QuestionHi,
I've tried many times to get the shoots or cuttings from my neighbors roses to grow. No luck even tried covering a vine that was low to the gound so it would get side roots etc.
Any help would be appreciated
AnswerCertain roses can be hard to start from a cutting. But here is a couple of web sites which will guide you through the process and then you should have some success. Just make sure your cuttings are never placed in full sun as this will burn them when they are young. When they have been growing well for a summer, then next spring you can plant them where ever you want to. Hope this helps.
