Hello!  I'm a little late getting started this year.  Is it too late to prune my shrub roses?  I've got Carefree Delights out back and Flower Carpets in front. Thanks!

You won't do any harm to your roses by cutting them back now. It is always easier to prune a rose when it doesn't have any growth on it so that is why early spring is usually the time to do it. But you can even cut back your roses in the summer. That is the time I do it when I want to make the rose bush stay smaller. Hope this helps.
