Question
Help! all my J& P roses are being eaten by J. Beatles. Seven just makes them stronger it appears. I sprayed with a Ortho product just for J. Beatles, it didn't phase them. I have alot of roses, but I won't if I can't get rid of them. I did buy a bugBag which does kill a small amount but it doesn't solve the problem.Please any suggestions would be helpful.

Hi Karen.........the only product that i have found that really works is Merit - a quick dissolve powder (one tsp. makes 10 gallons of solution) You spray your whole garden(including blooms) every two weeks.  I keep a mister bottle handy to mist new blooms that open/new growth.
    Bayer has a spray in the home improvement stores that has a little of Merit in it;  Rosemania sells it in 2oz. bottles(problem with that is it is 60.00 - which is fine for a huge garden(ours is two acres).  If you like I could mail you a little (about 10.00 worth + shipping)bit, and it should get you through this season.
