Question
i have a red and yellow rose bush and noticed what look like beetles congregating inside the rose petals. sometime 4-5, some as big as my fingernail (on my pinkie) what do i do...they are destroying the petals.

Hi Joe-

You need to go to a local Nursery or Lowes or Home Depot (even Walmart) and buy a Rose or Plant Pesticide.  Spray the rose flowers and leaves.  Try to find one that is rain proof, or if it isn't - spray once a week.  

This is what I would do, and what is recommended for all Modern Roses.  If you can find a pesticide/blackspot spray combo that is good too.

You can also plant marigolds around the roses - they keep insects away.
