QuestionHi, Today I bought a rose bush, in transporting it home one of the branches broke. It did not break off all the way fortunately. The only reason that I haven't taken it off all the way is because ther are 7 buds on the top of it. ranging from starting to ready to open. what can I do to repair the branch so the buds can continue to grow and bloom. I have wrapped the branch with tape at the break and steaked it so it doesn't move will this help? Thank you. Tony
AnswerHi Tony-
You did the right thing. There is still a possibility that the rose buds will bloom. To increase the odds - keep the rose well watered. If not - and the buds die, just simply cut off the branch. It won't hurt the rose bush at all. If you water and fertilize new buds will form soon, and new branches will grow.
Have fun smelling the roses-
