QuestionI recently received fresh cut roses that not only have lasted 3 weeks, but are now sprouting new growth on the stems. Can these stems be transplanted to the yard to grow into rose bushes? Thanks Much! Janey Christine
Answer Janey, even though most floral roses are grown in greenhouses, it may be possible to "root" some specimens.
Find the largest pot you have , buy a small bottle of growth/rooting hormone, and some organic humus. Fill your pot, dip cuttings/insert into organic humus.....keep soil moist to the touch....and keep your fingers crossed!
Good Luck! May God bless, j. williamson
