QuestionDear Lynette- I have a 2year old new dawn climber that just finished blooming a couple of weeks back. I'm located in Southwest Ga., should this rose bloom more than one time per year? Thanks David.
AnswerNew Dawn is classified as a repeat blooming climber. This rose blooms much better on old wood which means the canes it makes the year before. Therefore don't prune it hard unless it is necessary. It needs full sun and rich soil. You can give it that by fertilizing it monthly. Hope this helps. Lynnette
