Questionmy cut roses are not opening. Do you have any suggestions? have tried adding some warm water to the vase.
thank you for any help or suggestions
AnswerHi, Catherine--first, recut the stems, taking a half inch or so off, on a slant in a sink full of warm water, cutting under the water. Place the stems immediately in a fresh vase of warm water, with perhaps a little cut flower food added. You can buy this separately, or sometimes a little packet comes with the flowers. Set the vase in a spot that is sunny but not too hot. This should help those buds open. Repeat this process every 2-3 days to ensure the longest life for the blooms. Hope this helps!
