Question
If Rose of Sharon Tree is cut down to bark of tree will it regrow itself.  The root of the tree is still intact. My husband cut it down by mistake.

Ooh dear!  The only advice I can give you here is to adopt a 'wait and see' attitude!  It is just possible that over the summer your Rose of Sharon may put out some new growth from the edges of the cut area.  If there is no evidence of new growth by the end of July, I'd say that the plant is a goner.  I'm so sorry!
