A friend in Tennessee is wondering how to keep flies off of her Manhattans. It happens mid-summer.

Euonymus kiaulschovicus "Manhattan" (now there's a mouthful of a name!) has flowers that are very attractive to pollinating insects, especially bees, but that usually means that flies will be attracted too!  So, I'm sorry to have to tell you that your friend is stuck with them.
