Question
We planted a row of podocarpus for a back privacy fence.  They look good, however, some of them about 3 or 4 have turned yellow like if they were burned. I have also used a fertilizer once a month and have been watering regularly.

Podocarpus are really trouble free plants, and you have been treating yours in exactly the right way.  

If this is a new hedge and most of the plants are looking healthy, it may just be that these 3 or 4 have failed.  It happen sometimes and there isn't really any explanation as to why.  I'm afraid that you will have to dig them up and replant!
