Hydrangia

Question
I bought an Endless Summer Hydrangia about a month ago.  It was full of large blueish flowers.  It is about 4 ft. tall and in a 2 gal. pot and I wasn't going to remove it till next spring but the blueish flowers are turning a dusty white/yellow with blue inside.  What is it I can do to get the flowers back to their original color? I am in zone 4,I think(Wisconsin), does that make any difference?  I do keep it well watered and in the morning sun.Thank you

Answer
Hi JC

Thank you for your question.

I think that your Hydrangea may be hungry!  At 4 feet high it really needs to be in the ground and being watered and feed on a regular basis.

Zone 4 gets pretty cold in the winter and although Hydrangeas are described as 'fully hardy' I don't think your plant would survive outside in a pot!

Please - plant it asap and feed and water it well - next spring/summer will tell if this has worked for your plant - I do hope so!
