QuestionI have a lemon tree started from seed over 30 years ago. It is kept outside (east TN) except when temperatures are below freezing. It has been repotted over a year ago. This year it is not putting out new growth and the
leaves are drooping. I cut it back when I put it outside this spring.
Any suggestions?
AnswerJacqueline,
There could be some residual shock from the repotting, this due mostly to the age of the tree, but I think the pruning may have effected it more.
I would recommend fertilizing the tree to encourage new growth. Keep it well watered, but be careful not to overwater the tree.
Good luck,
