meyer lemon tree losing leaves

We live in Vero Beach, FL and our Meyer lemon is 2yrs old (since we planted it). It didn't bear much fruit the first year, and this year it has lots of fruit on it, but has lost almost all it's leaves and the branches are dying too. It really looks sick....please help!

It sounds like the tree has used up the nutrients in the soil. Have you been fertilizing it regularly? If not, I would recommend fertilizing it regularly. The website http://www.kathyrmiller.com/meyer_lemon_tree.htm should help you with proper care tips.
