Question
I have rose of sharon that is out of hand. I've cut them,but they keep coming back. Could you tell me how to kill roots,with out harming children or animals?

Allow the plants that you killed to grow a little bit, then spray the plants with Round-Up. This is a non-selective herbicide that will kill the enire plant right down to the roots. Round-Up will not harm the children or pets once it has been absorbed into the plant.
