The easiest way to do it is to pull them out of the ground. You could also look for chemical swipers. These are sponges that are attached to a small tank. You put the chemical inside (in this case I would recommend Round-Up) and you can apply the material directly to the leaves of the plants that you want to control. You may be able to find it in mail order catalogs or in your local nursery.
