Carolina Jasmine-Not blooming

Question
My Carolina Jasmine are not blooming.  I have potted them up in a 1 gallon pot.  This is there first season since I potted them up.  I first kept them in the shade then I put them in full sun.  Also, the leaves on it are brown on the tips of them.  Any ideas to stop the tips from being brown and to get it to bloom.

Answer
Brian,

Jasmine prefers full sun and well drained soils. The omly reason that I can think of for the plant not flowering would be that require full sunshine to produce flower buds.

The browning at the tips is probably a reaction to it being repotted. I would recommend putting a little fertilizer in the pot to encourage new growth, put it in a sunny area and keep it well watered.

Good luck,
Ed Gulliksen
