QuestionMy neighbor has a very tall holly tree with big double trunk. Beautiful in the winter. A Hugh portion of one trunk extends over into my yard. It looks like the tree has about 45% yellow leaves. I am thinking of having the branch on my side totally removed. Do you think this tree is dying
AnswerRegina,
It is hard to say if there is a problem with the tree not having seen it or not knowing any of the particulars of when the leaves yellowed. I would recommend that you contact a certified arborist to evaluate the tree and determine what should be done with the branch encroaching into your yard.
Good luck,
