Hi, hope you can help. We need to move two beautiful privots shaped like balls around 3 foot high to make room for a fence. The centre of the shrub is in line of the forth coming fence. Can we prune in half or possibly move. This has to be done this month, been told they will die. Kind regards Jo

It is really too late to move these shrubs, they should have been moved in March or early April, but they can be move if you take additional precautions for the summer.

Make sure that the root balls are as large as possible to maintain as many roots as possible. Water them heavily after they are moved and mix an organic fertilizer or Plant Saver into back fill to help stimulate new root growth.
