QuestionHello Edward,
We moved into our Cincinnati home last year filled with abundant plant life well taken care of! Our landscaper will not trim what I believe to be our Dwarf Globe Blue Spruces. We have 3 of them in the front yard and it looks like new sprouts are coming through all over. How do we prune these and what time of the year should this be done?
AnswerMary,
If you really want to prune the spruces, it can be done at any time of the year. I would recommend doing it by hand and only cuuting back the errant new "sprouts". This will hopefully help you maintain the integrity and the overall shape of the plants.
Good luck,
