I ned to know how to get rid of prickly pears on my land. There's not alot but I have heard that you can spray diesal on them. Is this true or do you have another suggetion

You could spray them with diesel feul, but this would contaminate the soil and effect anything else that you would want to grow there. I would recommen dusing a non selective herbicide such as Round Up or Natures Glory. These materials will kill the plants down to the roots and become inactive in the soil.
