It is now March 7, is it too late to prune boxwood.  My boxwood is old and looks unhealthy.  I want them to return to healthier looking shrubs.

No, it is not to late to prune your boxwoods. Now is the perfect time to do any type of rejuvenation pruning. Try not to cut it any lower than 12-18 inches off the ground. Be aware that the plants may take a while to recover fully from this type of pruning.
