QuestionHi I am moving in April but have the chance to transplant now if it is better- several hydrangeas, a beautyberry bush, a 10 ft. viburnum (not sure exact type) a white pine and several small azealeas. Just wanted your advice on when would be the best time and any other helpful tips you have. I live in Philadelphia PA. thank you very much Cindy

I would wait until the early spring (late Feb-March)to transplant these plants. This will give the plants a better shot at survival. To prepare the plants, fertilize them this fall to build up their nutreint reserves for the move next year.
