QuestionI have a truphet vine that grows very well but it seems to be re seeding itself all around the area. Is there a way to stop this or should I just keep killing the new growth?
Also, should the flower pod be trimmed off after flowering. Thanks
AnswerJohn,
Trumpet vines are a very fast growing and aggressive. You will need to continue cutting the tendrils that are going where you do not want them to go.
Pruning off the faded flowers will keep the reeding in chack and slow the spread somewhat.
Good luck.
