Have burgandy spots on leaves and leaf drop
a couple look "sick"
please identify problem AND how to resolve problem

Th dogwoods most probably have either leaf spot or anthranose. These diseases will not kill the plants, but will make the leaves drop early.
I recommend giving them a good fertilizer treatment this fall and again in the spring as well as treating them with fungicides in the mid to late spring. Maintain good watering practices and make sure they mulched.
