Questionok - i planted 3 they are about 3 1/2 feet tall new althea roses, in my front flower bed . they look kinda wilty and the leaves are starting to look yellow. i have ony watered them twice a week only.. i have mulch on the ground.. should i fertilize them? or do i not have the proper drainage? if so what type of fertilizer should i use?
AnswerTeresa,
I think that the roses are in transplant shock. I would recommend that you increase the watering using a soaker hose everyday for at least 1 hour. Fertilize them using miracle gro for roses and they should bounce back.
Good luck.
