QuestionI Live in South New Jersey. I wish to plant a new Alberta Spruce in December. Any sugesstions?

I would not recommend planting anything at this time of year. But techichally, you could plant- even with the ground frozen. The Alberta will not start sending out new roots until the spring. If you do decide to plant, put up a bulap enclosure to provide some protection from the winter winds. Then fertilize it well in the spring with a low nitrogen fertilizer and biostimulants.
