My darf Alberto Spruce trees are no longer darfs.
They have really gotten tall. When is the best time of year to top and trim up? Thanks Robin

Hi Robin
the only way you can trim them is by removing the new growth in the fall of each year. if you are concidering a reduction in size that would not be advisable. this species will stay the size and shape by caring and triming as i stated. any massive triming done now will deform the shrub and may not recover in the shape you are used to.
