QuestionI have two questions please. I have a wisteria that is more than 5 yrs old, very healthy, large, woody and has never bloomed. Why not?
2nd The pumpkins that I plant every year never get very many female flowers (3). The ones they do get, shrivel up and die. Why?
Answerhi John
both questions can be answered with the same diagnosis, they have a cultural problem. you need to find out what is going on first. start by testing the soil to see the levels of ph and fertility also lighting how much or how little sunlight does it get. and drainage how fast does water drain in the soil and how much does it retain. then after finding out those things choose a good fertilizer and apply according to your needs. my suguestion would be a slow release type so it will feed everytime you water.
good luck Larry
