QuestionWe have a large sago palm in our back yard. It is approximately 3 feet tall to the point where the palm fronds begin growing out of the center bulb. My wife wants to move it to the front yard. What is the safest way to move it and do we have to do anything special to insure a successful trans plant? Thank you
AnswerHi Rick
dig around the drip line to get a good root ball and take it out, make sure you pre dig the hole in the new location first. After moveing the tree add some soil from the previous site to reduce shock then care as normal.
Good Luck Larry ;-)
