I'm looking for the shrub that has blue berries that is often used at Christmas time for decorating.  I'm not sure if it is a juniper or a cedar, and how big does it get?

Junipers certainly have blue berries.  The eastern red cedar which really is a juniper is used for decoration.  Size can vary from ground cover types to 40 foot.  Check with your local nursery or garden center for particulars.
