Two tone Japanese maple

Hi, I recently saw a beautiful Japanese maple that was two colors at once. Half green, half red, it looked as though two trees were growing next to eachother. In fact it was just one. It was a small,weeping variety. Can you help me identify this tree, and perhaps tell me where I could buy one? Thanks

Shoshana. sorry, have been out of town. I have no Idea what that plant could be. I have never seen anything like it, and I am guessing that one like this would only grow in more temperate climates than here in MN. sorry I cannot help, some specialized garden centers may be able to help you out, or a local arboretum.
