QuestionI have several cypresses that are turning brown and apparantly dying. I have a picture posted on http://cgcps/cypress.jpg if you could look at it and maybe give me some ideas. I really don't want to lose these trees. The location is Cary (near Raleigh), North Carolina. Thank you...David Dutton
AnswerDavid, I am not sure what the problem could be, I tried thelink, but it didnt work, sorry. I am not to familiar with cypress trees, as they do not grow here in MN. the best thing I can suggest is for you to countact your local county extension agency, they are usually a good source to find out information on tree problems. another good idea is to locate a good arborist. they do charge for house calls, usually not to much, sometimes the first visit is free too. they are usually a good source, as they can often fix the problem, if it is fixable. this is the best bet especially if the trees are valuable to you.
good luck.
