Beryl: I am not to sure, I would need more information. I do not know what a Lantern tree is. if you have the botanical name, that would be very helpful. Are there other names it goes by? Is this a tree, or a house plant that you keep in a pot, such as an hibiscus is here in Minnesota? Sorry I cannot help with this particular question, But I could not find this plant in any books, so there is not much for me to go on. thanks for the question, if you find the botanical name, I may be able to help you more.
