QuestionI live in Indianapolis, IN and am looking for some sort of evergreen to line one side of a fence that will provide full privacy all year long (I'm thinking I will need a row of them to cover about 150 feet). I already have several large trees in my yard and I don't want anything that will get too tall...maybe 20 feet tops. I would love if it flowered at least part of the year, but that's not a must-have. What would you recommend?
AnswerThere are several that would work. Here is one that grows about 6 feet tall and flowers.
Spring Bouquet Viburnum

I would go to a good garden/tree nursery and give them your needs and growing conditions and they can give you suggestions as to species that you might like. You can also see them there and decide on the flowering etc. Also the local office of the Agriculture Extension Service should be able to help with a list. Their number should be in your local phone book.
