Question
Norfolk pine
Are the roots system of norfolk pines invasive. Can they cause structural damage if planted close to a house. I am purchasing a house with a nfp planted about 5/6 metres from the house.
AnswerNo that far a way from the house you will not have a problem with the root system. The Norfolk has a main tap root and just does not develop a wide and extensive root system so large roots do not extend out far and therefore will not be a problem to foundations.
