Question
I recently had kids completely remove the white bark on 4 trees from about 3 feet off the ground to about 5 feet up the tree.  Will this eventually kill the trees?  Is there anything I can do or apply to the trees to help them survive?

Paper Birch bark does sluff off and can be peeled but not recommended. The loose bark can be easily peeled off without harming the tree. As long as the tight bark is not removed down to the green cells it will be ok. I would not worry about it just use this as a lesson for the kids not to do it again.
