Question
I recently damaged the bark on a couple pine trees while mowing, Is there anything I can do to help to keep from loosing these trees?

As long as you did not cut through the bark into the wood all the way around the trunk the tree will be ok. Pines will produce a pitch sap that will seal the wound. Over time the tree will heal over the wound so there is nothing that should be done. I would place pine straw mulch around the trees so keep the mowers and string edger operators away from the trunk. Do not use more than 3 inches deep of mulch and do not pile it up on the trunk.
