QuestionLillle yellow egg clusters, what appears to be brown aphids, ladybugs eating the yellow eggs? Good, bad, a guess, treat, leave alone, prevention. Help
AnswerLadybugs will kill the aphids. It will take a little while but they should clean up the problem. I would leave them be for now and in about a month if you see that thr aphids are still there and causing the leaves to curl or be distorted you can then apply an insecticide to kill the aphids --which will also kill the ladybugs.
IF you still need to treat I would use an insecticide called Bayer Advanced Tree and Shrub Insect Control Concentrate. this is a applied to the soil around the tree and the roots transport it to he leaves and twigs and when the aphids suck the plant juices the insect id killed. It will protect the tree for the growing season. For now stay with the free ladybug control.
