QuestionMy tree has shoots coming up from the roots. They come up all around the tree trunk. I have cut them off and spry them with pruning spray on it, but they still come up.
WHAT CAN I DO TO STOP THIS ?
THANK YOU

AnswerThere are products that will slow or stop the growth of sprouts. They are called growth retardants and come under several names. One of these is called Tre-Hold SPROUT INHIBITOR. these are sprayed on the sprouts stopping their growth. I would check with a local nursery for one of the growth retardants. Other wise just keep cutting them of as they come up (the pruning paint does nothing as far as the sprouts go and is not needed)
