sunlight and African tree

Question
I am attempting to grow an African baobab tree (Adansonia digitata) in Athens, GA.  (I realize that this is extremely impractical.)  I'm planning to try to use a mirror(s) to redirect light to the tree, on the theory that if the mirror is (say) 90% efficient, then the amount of sunlight hitting the leaves will then be 190% of what it would have been.

So my question is, how much more sunlight is there, in absolute terms, at 10 degrees from the equator vs. at 30 degrees?  I don't even know if it's closer to 2X or 10X.  Any help or suggestions will be appreciated.  Thanks.

Answer
The sunlight is not the problem with growing this tree is GA The limiting factor is the cold temperatures. Baobab will tolerate a little frost during its dormant season. It probably can be grown, with occasional winter protection, in zone 10A. Athens Georgia is in zone 7A which is far removed from 10A in southern FL. 10A does not get below 35 degrees. It can be raised in a large pot inside or outside BUT moved in during colder months. The light is not a problem. It grows in full sunlight which is more than 6 hours likes warm temperatures. If grown in doors in a pot you should be able to grow this in Athens.
