Answer
The hardwood plants should re sprout from the stumps. This will vary by species and the size of the stump. If these are large stumps (10+ inches across) they may not sprout. Conifer plants more than likely will not re sprout. About the only thing you can do is wait and see this spring. When you see new growth sprouting from the stump make sure these are watered during dry spells. The good news is when they do sprout they will have a good root system and will grow pretty quick.
