QuestionI live in northern IL. I have a daisy tree planted in the ground not in a pot. I would like to know what I should do to the tree for winter. Can I leave it in the ground or should I bring it indoors? I love the tree and I don't want it to die my kids got it for me for mothers day.
Thank you,
Cathy
AnswerIt will not survive the winter there--grows above 30 F. It would be best to transplant it to a large pot and move it indoors. A garage that is not overly heated would be best. Make sure you water it this winter--even though it may not have leaves it still needs water for the root growth.
