Pecan Tree / Killing Frost

Question
I am worried about my pecan trees. I bought this house built in 1923 and all of the trees are very old. I have 9 pecan trees that range from about 26" to 48" in dia.I also have an oak tree that I'm worried about too. Spring sprung and all of the trees put there leaves on, all the leaves were as big as your thumb or bigger. I also have  2 fig trees I'm worried about. We had a killing frost 3 mornings in a roll and killed everything. A couple of the trees are trying to leaf back but the other trees are trying to grow new chutes off of their trunks,my figs and one other tree are not doing anything too. Are my trees going to die or be ok ?

Answer
No the tree are not dying from the frost kill back. They will leaf out again but the foliage may not be a thick as last year but the difference will not effect the health of the tree. The nut production was greatly effected due to the flowers being killed by the freeze so I would not expect many pecan this year.
The trees will be ok--hardwoods have the ability to re leaf after an late spring freeze.
